Utsuru pits four Youkai against the lone shrine maiden Reimu in a deadly game of survival. As Youkai desperately coordinate escapes through dark environments, Reimu hunts them using mystical abilities and environmental traps. A new single-player variant flips the script - now Reimu must purge every Youkai from the map before they corner her. Should the monsters outwit their pursuer and track her down first, the shrine maiden's only hope becomes fleeing their vengeful grasp to avoid a catastrophic defeat. This asymmetrical horror experience challenges both sides to outthink their opponents through strategic positioning and rapid decision-making.
