Players maneuver geometric blocks called tetrominoes as they drop into the arena, rotating and positioning them to form solid horizontal rows. Successfully completing a row causes it to vanish, earning points and freeing up space for more blocks. The goal is to keep the arena clear as long as possible—once blocks pile up to the top, the game ends. Scores escalate based on how efficiently players manage placements and delay the inevitable screen-filling climax.
